The construction of the Vanasadama tram line diverts seven bus routes

On Tuesday, March 7, the construction of the Vanasadama tram line will begin in Tallinn. The first phase of the works will last from March 7 to April 3, which will be accompanied by changes in the traffic of seven bus routes. Bus routes No. 9, 11, 31, 46, 55, 67, and 68 will be diverted.

Information materials with a description of the temporary route and traffic schemes will be installed at the stops of bus lines with changed routes. There may be delays on diverted routes, and the walking distance to stops in the city center area may increase. Changes to Tallinn public transport routes in the period 07.03.2023 to 03.04.2023:

The route of bus no. 9 in the direction of Kadaka will not change. In the direction of Priisle, the bus route is as follows: Estonia Boulevard, Teatri Square, Rävala Boulevard, Tartu Road, F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street, and Gonsiori Street; the changed route will include the stops Estonia and Tornimäe.

The direction of Kivisilla of bus No. 11 is replaced by the direction of Kaubamaja and runs as follows: Estonia Boulevard, Kaubamaja Street, and the final stop, Kaubamaja. In the direction of Kadaka, the bus route is as follows: Kaubamaja Street, Rävala Boulevard, Teatri Square, Estonia Boulevard; the initial stop at Kaubamaja and the stop at Estonia will be made on the changed traffic route.

The route of bus no. 31 in the direction of Estonia will not change. In the direction of Priisle, the bus route is as follows: Teatri Square, Rävala Boulevard, Tartu Road, FR Kreutzwaldi Street, Gonsiori Street; a stop Tornimäe will be made on the changed route.

The route of bus no. 46 in the direction of Väike-Õismäe will not change. The bus route in this direction of Seli runs as follows: Estonia Boulevard, Teatri Square, Rävala Boulevard, Tartu Road, F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street, and Gonsiori Street; the changed route will include the stops Kaubamaja and Tornimäe.

The route of bus no. 55 changes in the city center and in Lasnamäe. The direction of Hobujaama is replaced by the direction of Estonia; the route starts at Peterburi Road 73a, and the bus route runs as follows: Betooni Street, Paneeli Street, left turn to Peterburi Road, Kuuli Street, Punane Street, J. Smuuli Road, right turn to Peterburi Road, Majaka Street, Lubja Street, J. Vilmsi Street, Gonsiori Street, Estonia Boulevard, Teatri Square, an initial temporary stop will be made on the changed traffic route at the access road of Peterburi Road 73a, stop Gaasi (on Betooni Street), Betooni, Betooni põik, Sõstramäe, Paneeli, Pikamägi, Kuuli (on Kuuli Street), Pikri, P. Pinna (on Punane Street), J. Smuuli tee, Sõjamäe raba, Jüriöö park, Suur-Paala, Väike-Paala, Majaka põik, Sikupilli, Majaka, Laulupeo, Gonsiori, Kivisilla, Estonia and the final stop Estonia on Teatri Square. The route of bus line No. 67 in the direction of Estonia runs as follows: Gonsiori Street, Estonia Boulevard, Teatri Square; the changed route will include the stop Estonia and the final stop Estonia on Teatri Square. In the direction of Seli, the bus route is as follows: Teatri Square, Rävala Boulevard, Tartu Road, FR Kreutzwaldi Street, Gonsiori Street; the changed route will include the initial stop Estonia on Teatri Square and the stop Tornimäe.

The route of bus line No. 68 in the direction of Estonia runs as follows: Gonsiori Street, Estonia Boulevard, Teatri Square; the changed route will include the stop Estonia and the final stop Estonia on Teatri Square. In the direction of Priisle, the bus route is as follows: Teatri Square, Rävala Boulevard, Tartu Road, FR Kreutzwaldi Street, Gonsiori Street; the changed route will include the initial stop Estonia on Teatri Square and the stop Tornimäe.
